Micki Leder is a principal and co-founder of The New Advisory Group and serves as General Counsel. She has over twenty-five years of legal experience with private law firms, government and industry, in addition to significant strategy and management experience related to higher education, research universities and institutions.
Micki has served as general counsel or deputy general counsel of a number of companies, and as legal counsel with both government (the National Science Foundation) and private firms. In addition, Micki served as Associate Dean for Administration at the Stanford University School of Medicine and as a principal with the Washington Advisory Group. In these non-legal capacities, Micki worked on projects including advising the University of California, Merced on the establishment of a new school of medicine. While working with The New Advisory Group, Micki advised King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals and assisting in the implementation of research funding operations for several institutions
Micki Leder earned her JD from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Political Economy from The Johns Hopkins University.
